Upgrading SABnzbdplus 0.3.0 to 0.3.1 on a DiskStation (with ARM CPU)

Introduction

This article will explain how to upgrade SABnzbdplus 0.3.0 to 0.3.1 on a DiskStation with ARM Marvell CPU. It assumes you already have SABnzbdplus installed. If you haven't please view this article:

Upgrading

Step 1:

Before upgrading make sure you stop SABnzbd from the web interface using the shutdown option.

Upgrading is very simple, type the following commands:

ipkg update

ipkg upgrade py-sabnzbdplus

Step 2:

After the installer finishes you will be asked two questions:
- The first question asks you if you want to keep your SABnzbd.ini, you can safely keep your config file from 0.3.0 to 0.3.1. SO we chose the default response (keep currently installed version)
- The second question asks you to overwrite the startup script. You must choose "Y" (Yes) here! If you choose not to, SABnzbdplus won't auto start.

Step 3:

Start SABnzbdplus by using the following command:

/opt/etc/init.d/S70sabnzbdplus
