<description>I am doing some preliminary research into sensors, jeenodes, jeelink, etc.

I want to set up a sensor in my garden to relay the soil temperature to my home server where I can then graph them throughout the year.

The jeenode+jeelink seems like it would work (cheaper than arduino and xbee)

There isn&#039;t a lot of info out there so I thought I would check to see your thoughts before I pulled the trigger on this as you seem to have experience tinkering with this thing.

I know I have a lot to learn but that&#039;s half the fun :)

If you have a second for a reply I would really appreciate it.

thanks
